Hey Everyone,
I thought I should put a close on the World Cup as it wasn’t all bad in the end. Due to Pakistan’s poor finish of finishing last at the World Cup after losing to Canada 3-2 in extra time (11th & 12th playoff) meant that our overall World Ranking went from 8th to 7th in the World moving us ahead of Pakistan. The whole of the Pakistan team including two 17 year olds retired after their poor showing.

Hey
everyone,
This
is the sixth installment of Buddha's Blog.
We
played Korea in yesterdays game in a must win match for us. Every
match from now on is a must win to advance into the semi-finals. That
is the way of World Hockey at the moment and how tight both pools of
6 are with 4 teams from each pool in a realistic chance of earning a
semi-final berth.

Hey
everyone,
This
is the fifth installment of Buddha's Blog.
Last
night we played the highly rated Dutch in our second game of the
pool. Usually we are on the back foot with the way we start but we
were able to turn the tables and score after only 47 seconds from a

everyone,
This
is the fourth installment of Buddha's Blog.
The
tournament has finally begun with a few upset results along the way.
In pool B there was a major upset on the first day of the tournament
with England beating Aussie 3-2. Aussie had 12 penalty corners and
could only convert one of them from a scrappy rebound where in
contrast England scored 2 from 3 corners.

Hey
everyone,
This
is the third installment of Buddha's Blog. The World Cup is about
to start and the guys are chomping at the bit to get out on the
paddock for what is going to be an amazing World Cup!
We
played England the
night before last in our last warm up game before the tournament. It
was probably one of our better performances of the tour so far, but
we were still only at about 70-80% of where we should and could be.

Hey
everyone,
This
is the second installment of Buddha's Blog. It has been a good past
couple of days with plenty happening.
First
of all we saw the Master Class and "GOD" of cricket Sachin
Tendulker record the first ever 200* runs in an ODI match. India
recorded a remarkable 401 for 3 off 50 overs against the World's
number 1 ranked side, South Africa.
